Whimsical Paws Studio proudly offers a boutique photography experience that is unlike most (if not all) of the prior photography services you’ve had before. I am dedicated to serving my clients throughout the entire process, from pre-session planning all the way through ordering & delivering your products. By providing a fun & well-planned session, both humans and pets are free to relax and be themselves, as I believe that this is when the true magic happens! Whether sitting down, striking the perfect pose, or running around causing straight chaos, I aim to capture all of those unforgettable moments and transform them into beautiful, tangible artwork for you to treasure for a lifetime.

Hi, I’m Catherine!

Mother of 2 humans, 1 dog, and 2 cats. Lifetime animal lover who dreamt of becoming a zookeeper or veterinarian. Passion for helping others and making a positive impact.

    I was born & raised in Texas and lived there for the first 23 years of my life. Then I spent 7 years living in Southern California before moving to Eastern North Carolina in 2018.

    Animals have always been one of my special interests and my job history reflects that fact. From boarding kennels to veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, animal control, and pet sitting... I knew I wanted to always work with animals in some capacity, but it wasn’t until I started working at the animal shelter in 2018 that I fell in love with photographing them. So, I began diving into the photography world and found a true passion in the visual arts. I am in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design & media arts and I hope to also start drawing animal portraits too!

Other interests include: coffee, the beach, nature walks, coffee, Lilo & Stitch, video games, coffee, astrology, psychology, and also coffee.
